We have sub-institutes of monitoring and control, communication, electricity, industrial control, and development center (in Beijing), market center, production center and so on. We have over 600 employees, have complete specialties which covering fields of automation and communication for coal mine such as wire/wireless communication, computer application and network technology, industrial automation, electronic technology, measuring instrument, sensors technology and mechanical design, etc. |

We have laboratories for monitoring and control, communication, optic fiber, drive, sensor, environment and so on, and also imported advanced equipment from USA, Germany, etc. We have passed ISO2000 Quality Certification. |

In recent four decades along with our professions in coal mine automation and communication, we have gained 218 scientific and research achievements in high-tech field for coal mine, including basic information platform for digital mine, integrated mine wide automation system, mine-used monitoring system for production safety, mine-used system for personnel location and management, mine-used wire/wireless communication system, monitoring and control system for belt conveyor, power monitoring and control system, mine-used sensors and frequency converters, and 33 achievements awarded with scientific progress prizes by national, ministerial and provincial authorities. |

In China, we are the first to
Develop, promote and apply monitoring and control system for production safety with microcomputer technology in coal mines;
Develop, promote and apply monitoring and control system for belt conveyor with microcomputer technology;
Develop, promote and apply optic fiber industrial television system with optic fiber transmission technology;
Develop, promote and apply monitoring system for personnel position with RFID technology;
Put forward and successfully realize integrated mine wide automation system;
Utilize industrial Ethernet technology in coal mine underground;
Utilize GEPON technology in coal mine underground;
Utilize CDMA technology in coal mine underground. |

In 1965, Automation Research Institute of former Coal Industry Ministry was established in Tangshan City, Hebei Province;

In 1979, relocated to Changzhou City, Jiangsu Province, and renamed as Changzhou Automation Research Institute of China Coal Research Institute (CCRI); |

In 1999, transformed to scientific research enterprise directly under State Owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission; |

In 2000, CCRI founded Tiandi Science and Technology Co., Ltd, and Changzhou Automation Research Institute of CCRI founded Changzhou Automation Branch of Tiandi Science and Technology Co., Ltd; |

In May, 2002, Tiandi Science and Technology shares (code 600582) launched in Shanghai Stock Exchange; |
