Model KXT22 Mine-used Device of Communication and Signaling is of mine-used intrinsic safety type, consisted of one main machine and 0~10 extensions. It is suitable for environment with explosion danger of methane and coal dust in mine underground, also for industries of metallurgy, chemical, building, transportation, power and food. It has functions of audio broadcasting alarming, intercom amplifying and it also has interfaces to connect with dispatching exchanger and control system for belt conveyor and so on.

1 telephone interface, 1 RS485 interface, 4 On/Off interfaces, 1 audio input interface
Maximum Distance between Extensions and Main Machine: 1 km(1 extension per 100 m)

Main machine and Extensions are of mine-used intrinsic safety type, protection degree IP54
Trunk connection can be used between the devices for extending
Functions
Used for intercom amplifying
 
Calling, amplified intercom can be realized between main machine and extension and between extensions. KXT22 can be used in following fields of mine underground:
* Laneway for belt conveyor
* Excavating workface
* Tunnel for aerial ropeway
* Slope tunnel
* Tunnel for overhead monorail car
 
Used as alarmer or broadcasting terminal
 

Main machine of the device has interfaces of RS485, On/Off and audio input for broadcasting and alarming. And contents of the broadcasting and alarming can be set on super computer by RS485 interface. The device or its main machine can be used for alarming or amplified broadcasting in other systems as follows:
*¡¡Integrated Monitoring and Control System for Coal Mine
*¡¡Emergency rescue and evacuation guiding system
*¡¡Personnel location management system
*¡¡Electric control system for belt conveyor
 
Used for remote amplified broadcasting between surface and underground
 
Mutual voice communication between dispatching control center on surface and the device underground can be realized by optic-fiber cable. Voice signal on surface can be sent to KXT22 device for amplified broadcasting by optic-fiber cable, and voice and alarming signals of KXT22 underground can be received by loudspeaker on surface.
 
Connecting with dispatching exchanger to realize amplified broadcasting and mutual calling and intercom
 
In dispatching and communication system, telephone of main machine can be directly connected to exchanger through telephone coupler (safe coupler), any dispatcher can call any KXT22 with broadcasting, and any KXT22 can call special dispatcher.
