It
consists of two parts: monitoring and control system of port
equipments and communication and television system. The central
control room is equipped with operation and control dest, programmable
controller, mimic board, host, intermediate relay case, power
distributing cabinet and start switch case. It also is equipped
with various sensors of equipments protection and running condition
detection to control the port's handling system which is formed
by belt conveyor, reshipping machine, ship unloader, car loader,
stacker and reclaimer. The system can achieve the automatic
and manual start/stop of bult material transportation, a complete
set of perfect protection, monitoring and management of the
operation condition of the port spot. It has important significance
in ensurance of safe and efficient operation of belt conveyor
system in the ore berth port and also in modernization of management. |

The operation control desk is the operation
center of the whole monitoring and control system and is divided
into three parts:
(1) Control the running of
the belt conveyor system to make the belt conveyor control system
work in automatic or manual mode; control start and stop of
the watering machine and operation of broadcasting alarm system.
(2) Complete the dispatching
and communication mission, ensure the communication between
central control room and the spot unblocked, to send down or
report various commands timely and correctly, and ensure the
system work coordinately.
(3) The industrial television monitoring
and control system completes the image display and videorecord
of the monitored spot, picture's switching and large-screen
display; |

The intermediate relay completes signal
separation, level conversion, drive ability improving and logical
conversion of operation modes to ensure the automatic control
system work more reasonably and reliably; |

The start switch case employs vacuum
contactor and has various protection like short circuit, over
current, under voltage and lack phase; |
|
The power distributing cabinet feeds
power to PLC cabinet, mimic board, operation control desk, communication
and industrial television system, intermediate relay cabinet
and belt protection sensor to ensure the reliable running of
the system and reduce the mutual interference. |

In order to ensure the belt conveyor
work safely and reliably and adapt to the severe environment
condition of the port, in order to protect the belt conveyor,
the system uses the sensors with high quality, stable performance
and good sealing performance; |

The image of the industrial television
monitoring and control system is arbitrary and switchable. it
can monitor the operation spot and record the needed image momentarily. |
